Back at the very beginnings of the Fotografia Gallery in Tbilisi simple pour-over filter coffees were served, I used to go in there to chat with Gela about cameras and film and stuff, as it happened I’d just bought a Hasselblad 500CM 6x6 medium format camera to try and this was the first shot I took, loaded with Ilford FP4 Film I figured I could just about hold a 1/30th of a second which would be what I needed to gather enough light on the film with the lens aperture wide open - turns out I was right and we can all relate to the relaxed vibes of this minimalist monochrome homage to our love of coffee.
